Opening celebration Junge Theaterwerkstatt am Zoo

With Grote Mensen, One Man Zoo, welcome greetings (4 pm)

The Junge Theaterwerkstatt (Young Theatre Workshop) opens its doors, spruced up and decorated for the start of the season, and invites people of all ages to a party. Whether terrace, entrance area, theatre hall, foyer or rehearsal stage – the house will be filled with a colourful programme for a whole year. Guest performances from all over the world, clubs, residencies for theatre groups and discussion panels show and offer everything that is important in theatre for young audiences. And this should be celebrated! With lemonade, sparkling wine and popcorn, the festive community gathers on the terrace in good weather. To warm up, they can look for Ariel Doron in the square in front of the theatre and discover small hands-on activities in the foyer. At around 3.30 p.m. there will be official welcoming speeches and at 6 pm after the performance of “Grote Mensen”, you can dance joyfully into the season!

What does the theatre of the future look like in Frankfurt? This is a question that the Junge Theaterwerkstatt seeks to find answers to together with people young and old, families, artists, institutions, politicians and the city community. Come, watch and join in! Everyone is welcome!
