Choreographer Meg Stuart has written dance history with her large-scale pieces. In Hunter, she now personally takes to the stage in a solo that hunts down personal and cultural memories, artistic heroes, fantasies and invisible forces, whose dramatic dynamics constitute and form us. Be it the cartoonesque body, a shamanist chanting ritual, or a noisy sound sculpture – the self-portraits, which Meg Stuart constantly reassembles out of the spoils of her research, resonate in a space that extends far beyond the single body.
