Marcio Abreu’s theatre performance has not only provided the Brazil festival with its title, it is also the play of the moment, the utopia of an artistic application of courageous genuine practical political experiments taking place in the midst of an extreme crisis.  Five actors take politicians’ texts and comments they have made in discussions on issues such as gay marriage and globalization and test out these attempts to improve the world on themselves along with the audience. This is a visionary cabaret: clear-sighted, humorous and guaranteed to crash and burn.
