The lecture performance is known as one of the most unwieldy genres of performing arts. The performance duo Janna Pinsker and Wicki Bernhardt are undaunted by this situation and have initiated an experiment that is both humorous and exciting: “Heute mobben wir die Birds” is a lecture-performance for people age 11 and up. More than a mere introduction to performance art, the piece also confronts itself and the audience with the fact that everything is somehow interconnected and relevant in its own way. Not knowing is no longer an option when trying to find meaning in the jungle of life. Flooding the brain with information feeds the web of thoughts and speculations.
