Irma

The songs of French soul-pop sensation Irma give authentic insight into the nature of this shy musician and her gentle voice with its almost magical live aura. Her first inspirations most likely came from her parents’ record collection, featuring e.g. Eric Clapton’s “Change The World” or Ben Harpers “Live on Mars”. Be that as it may, it was with these cover versions that she gained speedy popularity on YouTube, first in France and soon beyond. Skilfully she combines pop, (neo)soul, R&B and a pinch of funk with a dose of unique bitter-sweetness. A mixture, which so thoroughly convinced ZAZ and Bob Dylan that they invited her to join them on tour as their supporting act.

Wolf & Moon, Dutch Stefanie and Dennis, are a great supporting act for Irma’s music: in their own words, they describe themselves as a travelling dream-folk duo, who love being on the road and tell tales about it in harmonious, sparkling songs. Accompanied by a guitar, acoustic bass and analogue synthesizer pads, they begin the evening with a sense of youth and everything that one encounters when young.
