In six acts, the cultural historian Diedrich Diederichsen talks to Tonfunktion on the subject of "Gebrauchsmusik" and functional sound from the perspective of pop-theory. Following an abstract call-and-response principle, the music and performance duo Les Trucs in turn react to the thematic clusters and hypotheses with six musical miniatures.
