Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company

For the beginning of the season 21/22, Jacopo Godani gives 5 members of the ensemble the opportunity to make a collaborative work. Under the title Traces Felix Berning, Kevin Beyer, Anne Jung, Michael Ostenrath and Sam Young-Wright connect personal dance experience with the movement research of Jacopo Godani and their own choreographic voices. The emerging performance installation resembles a palimpsest – ideas are being formed, complemented by new ones and again being overwritten by others. The traces of past and present merge with visions of the future and create a vibrating, experimental piece corresponding to the architectural concept of the Sommerbau and its unique 3-dimensional open air stage.
