“Just all of you and me, tonight, very intimate.” In the form of a queer solo cabaret, theatremaker Daniel Cremer offers the audience nothing less than an (at last!) entirely satisfying relationship; from the first encounter to physical ecstasy, to marriage, “Liebestod” or polyamory. This is only superficially about romance. Cremer broadens the experience of love to such an extent that the ultimate political emotion reveals its true force. Love protests at any kind of separation – and that is our only hope of salvation. Cremer invites you to enter into a sensual and humorous imaginary space of emancipatory affinity that teaches us to enjoy the complexity of different opinions and positions. To aid in this endeavour, he uses “foreign language” – an artificial language that he invented himself to foster undivided community through collective lack of understanding in place of the illusion of comprehension.
