Storytelling is a basic human need. Listening is an expression of attention and affection. The host country Slovenia, together with the Traduki network, invites you to an unforgettable celebration of short stories. The evening will begin with a tribute to the famous Slovenian author Slavko Grum (1901-1949, his complete works are published by Heyn Verlag 2023). The path will then lead us through different countries, besides Slovenia we will hear voices from Northern Macedonia, Bulgaria and Croatia, accompanied by musical interventions by composer and double bass player Tomaž Grom. The poet, author and editor of the magazine manuskripte Andreas Unterweger will lead through the evening. The short stories will be read in German by Erwin Köstler and Ina Gercke, and the short conversations with the authors will be interpreted into German.
